Rosey wants to come home with you.
Rosey and her buddy, Duke were running around a neighborhood for over two weeks. Concerned neighbors grouped together to try to rescue the two before they were injured, killed or taken to the pound. After several attempts, the girl Basset Hound was caught and a kind family decided to hold on to her for a bit. The boy Basset Hound was a different story. He was playing hard to get. The neighbors refused to give up on him. After being told by a group that they would not help catch the boy and if they did, both hounds had to be taken to the pound, we got a call. On Easter morning, we went out and after a couple of hours, we were able to net the boy in a side yard.
Of course, we fell in love with both hounds and decided that we had to make room for both of them. Within two days, both were fixed. And now Rosey and Duke are waiting for their forever families. They do not have to go to the same family.
Rosey has captured the hearts of her foster family. She is a gentle girl who loves being around other family members. At first, she might bark that hound bark at you, but that is just a show. She will be loving on you in no time.
